Part 7 - A Comment on 3 Years Team Fortress 2

Just like Videos and Fanart, Comics are among the most popular media when it comes to fanstuff for a certain franchise. Team Fortress 2 is no difference; there exist quite a decent number of comics. In addition to the traditional handdrawn comics, comics made with in-game screenshots are quite common as well.  Garry's Mod undoubtedly influenced and helped in this regard.

Cuanta Vida is Spanish for "Many Lives" or "How much Life". Made by Kytri, the comic centers around the life of Jordi Bertrand, a Spy who was sent to the BLU base after the former Spy died. After a few months on the battlefield, he decides to escape from the whole Red V.S. BLU business, but he is in the middle of the desert and the only connection to the outside world is a train which arrives at the base sparingly, if at all.

The comic started in September 2008 and is being continued ever since. It's arguably the longest-running TF2-related comic series out there, so read it!

Nerf Now is a webcomic blog featuring comics to current events as well as original TF2-related stories, with some occasional non-TF2 game comic. The first comic was released in February 2008. As a consequence, the author has featured every single Update and every other noteworthy TF2 event, including the Backburner nerf , the Chargin' Targe and the eternal fight Spy vs Pyro.

Intelligence Silliness one of the oldest TF2-webcomis our there. It started it December 2007 - just a month after the game's release. The blog was being updated until September 2008 - roughly a year - until it was taken on hold. The author has been working on his original work Zeus & Sons since. Even thought it's stopped now, it's quite an accomplishment to keep it updated for almost a year. God knows there is a lot of stuff in the Internet that were abandoned pretty fast, which makes this blog all the more noteworthy.

You have to honor your granddaddies, and this is one of them.
