New blog post teases Meet the Pyro release
Written by Unknown on 23.06.2012 Time 01:11

The official blog has been updated with a post by the Pyro, using his signature "Mmmmph" glibberish. The text message contains a hidden code that says "Monday", meaning that Meet the Pyro might be released next Monday on June 25th.

Pyro

Since this is pretty much it, I'll teach you some Morse code, because that happens to be the format the hidden message was presented to us.

First off, here is the full content of the blog post:

Mmmmph mmmmph, mmmmm mmmmmp mmmmmph. Mmmmmph mpm! Mmmmmph mph mm! Hm mmmmmph, hmmmmph mm mmmmmph mmmmmph!

These mmmph's come in two tastes: long and short. In Morse code, a combination of short intervals (or points) and long intervals represent  a word. Remember the SOS? that's . . . (S), - - - (O) and . . . (S).

Knowing this, let us take a look at how the blog post looks like if it's converted into Morse code:

- - - - - - . -

. . . - - . - -

Thanks the the comma ( , ), decimal points ( . ) and exclamation marks ( ! ), we're given a pattern that defines which parts represent one word. Knowing this, the final message looks like this:

Note: The international pattern (ITU) is used here.

- -               =           M

- - -             =           O

- .                =           N

- . .              =           D

. -                =          A

- . - -           =          Y
